Why is Trump still president? Pt 1

I'm sure many, like me, are scratching our heads wondering why Trump is still in office. Besides having a strong dislike of the President, his blatant disrespect for the everyday struggles minorities still face, or his erratic behaviors, one would have to be in complete denial to not realize how incompetent the man is. According to media sources, Trump has yet to do anything that "constitutes a high crime or misdemeanor, and despite all red flags displayed by his actions, Trump's mental fitness hasn't been called into question." That statement; however, is false. Let's explore the five reasons that show Trump should be impeached.

1. OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE:

While much of the original Russsian interference investigation remains shrouded in mystery, many elements key to understanding the obstruction of justice controversy have either leaked or played out in full public view.

The most important of them are:
  • According to testimony from Comey, the president once asked him if he could “let” an investigation into fired National Security Adviser Michael Flynn “go,” and also told him he needed his “loyalty.” Trump denies both of these claims.

2. TAKING MONEY FROM FOREIGN POWERS WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF CONGRESS:

Money comes to President Trump by way of his companies, although the details and scope of his profits are secret; he refused to disclose his tax returns. After the election, Trump had several months to move toward liquidation and putting his assets in a truly blind trust. He has chosen, instead, to keep his ownership interests in his businesses, turning over operating decisions to his children but remaining an owner. His decision threatens the integrity of American democracy and national security, and it should ring alarm bells for all citizens, regardless of political party.

Trump’s choice violates one of the most overlooked but important sections of the U.S. Constitution, the foreign emoluments clause.

3. EXCESSIVE MONEY MADE IN HIS PERSONAL BUSINESS AS A RESULT OF HIS PRESIDENCY

4. UNDER MINDING OUR FEDERAL JUDICIARY SYSTEM

We cannot let our judiciary be undermined by the highest office holder in the land, the chief executive of a co-equal branch of government. In America, even presidents are answerable to the courts and the law of the land.
We've seen examples where individuals have gotten into trouble for tweeting from the courtroom.; meanwhile, every time Trump disagrees with court rulings he publicly displays his contempt via twitter. Not only does Trump publicly under mind court rulings, he also makes a point to throw out racial slurs. In Arkansas, a circuit judge held a reporter in contempt for tweeting the verdict. Jurors in many other states have tweeted about cases, which has even led to motions for a new trial, yet clearly Trump feels he is above honoring decisions made through our judiciary system.

5. UNDER MINDING OUR FREEDOM OF PRESS

CLEARLY TRUMP PROVES TO BE OUR MOST INCOMPETENT PRESIDENT THUS FAR... SO WHY HAS HE GOTTEN AWAY WITH SO MUCH BOTH BEFORE OFFICIALLY TAKING OFFICE AND CURRENTLY? THE PUBLIC DESERVES ANSWERS, AND THE QUESTION REMAINS... WHY IS TRUMP STILL PRESIDENT?
