Again another record label like Sony that profits greatly with the demise of their most talented artists. The "Big 3"- Sony, Universal, and Warner Brothers are the three major records labels that also have a great control of the media we are shown. Strangely it would appear these record labels operate under a monopoly system that leaves its artists in uncompromising positions, while they profit from their estates.
In the beginning, Jay Z tried to distance himself from Kelly after his 2002 charges even though an agreement had already been in place for the Best of Both Worlds.
Once it became clear how profitable this Best of Both World's tour would be, Jay Z of course decided to proceed with the business venture; however, the tensions were clearly there and would ultimately cause the tour to end abruptly. Both parties have a difference of opinions as to what caused the end of the collaboration, yet one thing is for sure, R. Kelly was assaulted during one show and was kicked off the tour.

Interestingly enough, stories that Jay Z has been implicated in the current R. Kelly scandal began to emerge.
According to the stories which emerged an individual claimed she had oral sex with Jay Z at the age of 15. It should also be mentioned that many have commented on the relationship between Foxy Brown and Jay Z as well, including former manager Damon Dash.
According to Lisa Van Allen, Foxy Brown wanted to hook up with R. Kelly, yet he was more interested in her.
Now it's being reported there is now a criminal investigation ongoing for Jay Z's company, Tidal.
Some of the same artists that helped these record labels push their agendas, are the same ones who also want to appear so "woke" and ready to enlighten their people.
Where was this awakening when their own was being set up for failure, while they proceed with business with those working against him.
